Greg Jensen is the founder and CEO of OptionsANIMAL, as well as an options investor, speaker, and author. His book, “Spread Trading – An Introduction to Trading Options in Nine Simple Steps,” focuses on giving investors the tools and knowledge to put the odds of success in their favor.

Chief Investment Strategist – OptionsHouse

Steve Claussen is the chief investment strategist for OptionsHouse. A 30-year trading career in the derivatives industry took him to multiple continents before landing him back in Chicago at OptionsHouse. Steve began his trading career trading futures on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade and progressed to the Chicago Board Options Exchange as head market maker for O’Connor and Associates, LLC, trading in the SPX and OEX option trading pits.

Steve spent five years overseas in Tokyo and London as executive director head of trading for Swiss Bank Corp, focused on Asia Pacific derivative products. After returning to the U.S., Steve was managing director at Wachovia Securities, LLC, as head of derivatives trading. In 2005, he came to PEAK6 Investments, L.P., a proprietary equity options trading firm and the founding company of OptionsHouse. Steve joined OptionsHouse in 2008, which was purchased by global growth investor General Atlantic in 2014.

Scott Shellady

Adjunct Professor of Finance, DePaul University

Mr. Shellady has a broad and strong range of technical and trade experience in both commodities and financial products in the three main geographies of North America, Europe and Asia.

From 1990 to 1993, after graduating with a finance degree from the University of Colorado, Mr. Shellady was the European Managing Partner of Prime International Trading London, a proprietary options trading group based out of Chicago. He built the group up to one of the largest options proprietary trading firms on the London International Financial Futures Exchange (LIFFE) and was responsible for all aspects of firm management, from risk controls to regulatory reports.

In 1993, Mr. Shellady built a similar group for Muirpace Ltd. as a board member and Director, which was sold and merged into Speer Leeds in 1995. Mr. Shellady was then retained by Deutsche Bank AG as an Associate Director to revitalize their options execution on the floors of London and any open-outcry exchange staffed by Deutsche personnel in Europe.

In 1998, Mr.Shellady was hired by The Industrial Bank of Japan – Aubrey G. Lanston Futures to become the Managing Director of their London futures operations overseeing all aspects of the futures division of a large international investment bank.

During this same period, Mr. Shellady was helping to get patsystems plc off the ground as a technology company for electronic futures trading. Mr. Shellady was the first shareholder after the founder and committed time and resource from 1996 to 2000 when he was named Chief Operating Officer for a listing in March of that year on the London Stock Exchange raising over $100 million US Dollars leading to a $400 market cap.

After 11 years in London, Mr. Shellady returned to Chicago to run a small family futures and options business that was started over 50 years ago.

Currently, Mr. Shellady spends his time as an adjunct finance professor of Finance at DePaul University and as an SVP at TJM Brokerage in Chicago where he can frequently be seen wearing his trademark ‘Cow Jacket’ on CNBC, Bloomberg, CNN and Fox Business News. Mr. Shellady currently resides in Chicago, IL. He is a citizen of both the U.S. and European Union.

He draws on a diverse background covering stocks, emerging markets, credit, currencies, economics and options to help clients discover opportunities and plan investments. Mr. Russell previously worked at Bloomberg News and CNBC.

Robert Chapdelaine joined OptionsHouse in 2015 to manage the Active Trader Consultant group. In Robert’s current role he helps support OptionsHouse’s clients by providing them with education around the firm’s platform and analytics, as well as helping them learn new strategies using technical analysis, futures and options. Prior to joining OptionsHouse Mr. Chapdelaine spent 8 years at E*TRADE Financial, where he covered the Northern California region for the firm’s Active Trade Consultant group. He graduated from Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan with a BA in international relations and political science and holds the Series 3, 4, 7, 24, 55, and 63 licenses.
