Money Due Restricted Call (MDR)
Cause: MDR calls are issued when a cash account makes a transaction and exceeds the overnight buying power, or when a margin account makes a transaction and exceeds the overnight buying power, and a required maintenance call (RM) or concentrated maintenance call (CM) is also issued. The call is issued T+1 due to four liquidation strikes in the past rolling one year period, or a prior Free Ride violation in the past rolling one year period.
Due: By 1 PM CT on Trade Date + 1 business day (T + 1);
Money Due Restricted calls cannot be met. Liquidation of securities or depositing funds by the due date only avoids liquidation of securities if the call goes past due.
