I can’t place a trade because of my trading level. How do I change that?

For an upgrade to your trading level, please log into your account and click on the Contact Us tab in the Account Management section. From there you can enter your request in the Message box and submit the email directly to Customer Service where you will provide:

  1. The last three digits of the account number;
  2. Years of experience trading options;
  3. Approximate number of these trades (annually);
  4. Approximate size of these trades;
  5. Years of experience trading equities;
  6. Approximate number of these trades (annually);
  7. Approximate size of these trades;
  8. Your (estimated) annual income;
  9. Your (estimated) net worth; and
  10. Your (estimated) liquid net worth.
  11. What is your Investment objective? (Capital Preservation, Growth, Income, Other, Speculation)
  12. Lastly, the option strategies you’d like added to the account.

Once we have received this information, we will re-evaluate your account’s approval level and send you an e-mail detailing changes (if any) to your approved trading level or ask for additional information.
