OH: Probability Calculator Tutorial 2:14
The Probability Calculator enables you to enter price targets for a given symbol and find the probability of an underlying symbol reaching these targets on a future date.
Start with a symbol and enter two price targets. The tool calculates the probability of touching the target prices (at any time before the future date) or finishing above or below the targets on the future date.
The probability calculator is particularly useful when gauging the probability of hitting potential breakeven points within a given option strategy.
Configurable parameters, in addition to the underlying price, include:
- Target Price
- Future date
- Implied Volatility (on various indices)
- Interest Rate
- Dividend Date
- Dividend Amount
- Dividend Frequency
