The Role

We are seeking a Database Administrator to join the OptionsHouse technology organization. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of our Oracle and Enterprise DB databases. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals to join a growing organization.

Core Responsibilities

• Maintain 24x/7 high availability Enterprise DB and Oracle production and development databases
• Monitor and tune databases and application objects in the database to maximize performance
• Review SQL code and implement all changes to the development and production databases
• Implement monitoring, security, and other rules to meet compliance needs

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Technical Knowledge and Experience and Educational Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with Oracle
• 5+ years of experience working with PostgreSQL
• Solid technical knowledge of Linux and UNIX operating systems
• Development background a plus
• Experience in a financial markets environment a plus
